Harvest is on and it’s time to review the season.

With harvest underway, it’s time to evaluate how your crop performed. Performance review is how you judge profitability and build next year’s gameplan.
If you’re running Sentinel, our upgraded performance reports will show how each field responded to nitrogen and water. They’re strongest if you’re using Sentinel Plots. These reports will anchor this fall and winter’s performance review meetings. Key features:
N Response Curves: Economically Optimum N Rate (EONR) and Agronomically Optimum N Rate (AONR)
EONR Comparison by crop and N price
Nitrogen Log
Season-long Sufficiency Trend
Weather, including seasonal comparison
Crop Development
Early results are promising:
Southeast Nebraska, irrigated corn: No fertigation, following N-Time Insights. It out-yielded the farm’s other non-Sentinel fields harvested so far while applying the least N.
North Carolina, dryland corn: Managed with All-N Advisor and N-Time Insights. When drought capped yield potential, the grower cut N to only what was needed based on Sentinel recommendations and protected profit.
We’ll share more outcomes and customer stories through the winter.
What you asked to learn about:
Here are the topics we’ve heard most interest in coming out of this season:
Melted urea: How do sufficiency, efficiency, and field performance compare with other N products?
Late-season N response: How late is too late to see a yield response, and how does it vary by geography, soil, and hybrid/CRM? When is it ok for sufficiency to decline?
N response × timing: How do timing and rate interact to build yield across soils and geographies?
N loss dynamics: How much N are we really losing, under what conditions, and through which primary pathway?
